ParqEx App Product Update – March 2023
We just released a new ParqEx App Product Update – March 2023 available via mobile (ParqEx Android app on Google Play & ParqEx IOS app on the Apple App Store) or the ParqEx web app via any internet-enabled web browser. Please upgrade to the latest app version for our feature changes and enhancements. All your data, listings, bookings, and pre-saved settings will remain unchanged. Read below to see the new feature updates included in this release.
Starter auto-fill templates feature for getting started with parking spot descriptions, instructions, and more.
We have all gotten so used to auto-fill features when filling out forms online. So much so that some of us are deterred away when it is not available. After hearing feedback from parking spot owners and managers who manage their listings on the ParqEx platform; we built this feature to help get things started with starter text templates that can be selected to auto-fill the field. Yes, you will still need to customize the description for your specific property/parking space, but we’ve added five starter templates that you can choose from to get you going. All you have to do is press the + sign, select the one that is most relevant to your situation, then customize it to your property & parking space specifications, and finally, save and publish, that’s it!
“Someone in your spot?” enhancements
Nothing is quite as aggravating as getting to your final destination and finding someone else parked in your reserved parking spot. We know this can be a hassle, so we have made enhancements for when these situations arise. If you have an active reservation with ParqEx & someone is parked in your spot, you can click the “Someone in your spot?” button. If the property has an “exact match” parking spot, you can choose from the available spots, save, and your reservation will be updated & reassigned. If the property doesn’t have an “exact match” spot, please upload a picture of the offending vehicle & add their license plate to the notes section so ParqEx & enforcement officers can take immediate necessary action. Our customer support team, property management, and enforcement officers will be notified immediately after you click save.
(*What is an “exact match” reservation? Say, for instance, your reservation was booked from 9-11 am. The system is looking for a parking spot that fits that time).
