The parking lot can be a frustrating and ruthless place, especially when the parking lot is almost full. While you are looking for the perfect spot, you will soon discover that it can take quite a bit of effort for you to find that perfect parking spot. The “perfect” spot does not matter to some drivers, but some drivers will race around the entire parking lot like a vulture who is hungry for a parking spot. Are you one of the drivers who will not stop until you have found the best spot to park your vehicle?
As you have discovered in every parking lot, there are different types of parkers. Which one are you?
1. The Driver Who Parks Too Close To Others
Who likes a driver who parks too close? No one! This person does not follow the obvious lines that separate the parking spots. The person who parks too close is probably the same person who stands too close when speaking to others. When someone parks too close, don’t you wonder how he or she managed to get out of the vehicle? If you see that someone has parked incredibly close to you, you should probably check your vehicle for any dents, dings, and scratches.
2. The Driver Who Likes To Save Time
We are sure you have seen vehicles in the parking lot that were neatly and carefully reversed in the parking spot. What do you think about these people? Do you think they are show-offs because they are showing everyone that they know how to drive and park their car in reverse? Why did they take that extra time to park in reverse when they were just going to the coffee shop for a few minutes?
3. The Show-Off Who Takes More Than One Spot
How many times have you seen a great-looking car taking up more than one parking spot? That driver is likely telling you that there is no way your little car is going to park next to his car. You agree that the car is nice, but that does not mean the car gets to take two parking spots, especially when there is no other parking spot opening? Absolutely not!
4. The Driver Who Disrespects The Curb
Do not disrespect the curb. The curb is not there for people to park on it. Why would anyone want to drive their precious vehicle onto the curb? Maybe the driver wants to show what people really mean when they call someone a “bad driver”. Maybe the driver just has a nonchalant attitude about driving, which probably means you should go the other way when you see that car.
5. The Twin Vehicles
How many times have you circled around a parking lot and discovered that there are multiple vehicles who look the same, and they are all parked next to one another? Maybe the drivers wanted to keep the family together? Maybe the drivers wanted to cars to bond while they were in the store, restaurant, post office, etc.
6. The Driver Who Takes A Handicapped Parking Spot
How many times have you seen someone knowingly park in a handicapped parking spot with no parking permit or tag? They’re only going to to be in the store for a minute, so it’s perfectly fine, right?
7. The Driver Who Hides Under A Tree
Most of us have spent some time under a tree because we needed a little shade, right? We are sure you have seen that vehicle who has parked under a nice tree. However, when a vehicle is parked under a big shade tree, this can also mean that the driver will return to a nice present from the birds.
What process do you go through when you are looking for the right parking spot? What type of driver do you think you are.
