Whenever a user requests or shows interest in a parking spot that is currently unavailable, their request is automatically populated into a waiting list portion of the ParqEx Admin Dashboard. This drop-down menu provides property management and ownership with all the necessary information regarding this user and their request and helps simplify all follow-ups on this request.

How Does the Waiting List Feature Work?

1. Automatic Population: When a user requests a spot that is currently unavailable, the requests are automatically populated into the parking waiting list segment of the Admin Dashboard. If property management or staff receive a phone call, email, or verbal request to be added to this waiting list, they can also manually add people to the list within the dashboard.

2. Admin Dashboard: The Admin Dashboard is the hub and brain of the operation for ParqEx clients, continuously facilitating and streamlining all parking management needs. As ParqEx grows and expands, this dashboard will include new drop-down menus, including the newest: the waiting list menu. The waiting list is easily accessible through the dashboard, which helps management and ownership see a clear overview of all pending parking requests and streamlines the necessary follow-up process.

3. Communication: When the requested parking spot becomes available, property owners and managers can quickly contact individuals and take advantage of automation in which interested parties on the waiting list are automatically notified via text, email, or messages within the ParqEx mobile parking app. With communication processes in place, the waiting list feature helps guarantee that when a spot becomes available, the next person in line can be quickly notified and offered the spot if they are still interested.
