BACKGROUND: In 2015, ParqEx launched Access+ – a proprietary technology to open gates, garage doors, pedestrian doors, electronic/magnetic locks, control elevators, and more. Access+ Premium with License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology further enhances the value provided to real-estate property owners and managers by improving the security at the property while also improving the access experience for vehicle drivers when they enter or exit the property.

How Access+ Premium LPR Works:

1. Registered vehicle pulls up at access point

To access a property, drivers simply pull up to the entry point in their vehicle. The forensic License Plate Recognition (LPR) network camera automatically detects and scans their license plate…

2. License plate recognition in progress

The system instantly analyzes and compares the scanned license plate number to the internal data list of approved license plates from drivers that have either paid for parking or have been granted access by the property owner…

3. Automatic access approval or rejection

If the driver is authorized and arrives in the registered vehicle, the match is detected and access is granted. The system then sends the authorized access command to the ParqEx signal box, which sends an electric signal to open the garage door, gate, or lift arm and then securely close it automatically after the vehicle has entered. Only registered vehicles will be granted access to the property.
